Description
I have developed a bit of a fascination with donut vases – technically a ceramic torus – because they’re one of those forms that is a bit tricky to make, but look really cool when they work.
They’re fully functional as vases (ideally as bud vases, rather than full, heavy floral arrangements because they are sensitive to changes in weight distribution), or can live happily as art pieces. Or both! Why be just one thing? 🙂
This particular vase is tall and graceful, with a single opening along the top surface. It will be important to be mindful of the width of the vase compared to the width of its foot when selecting blooms to display – it won’t accomodate anything too heavy. It would be perfect for dried stems, or a single perfect flower.
PSH 455 speckled clay body partially glazed with a combination of black and metallic silver.
Dimensions: 28 x 30 cm(11″ wide by 11.75″ high)
